PO Release Strategy Issue

Problem: Release strategy is getting triggered when price or quantity is decreased at version 0.

 

PO is created referencing a PR. Version 0 is marked complete due to setting in config.

Release strategy characteristic include PO type and version number. PO is not approved on creation.

1) Quantity decreased by 1. Version 1 created and Release strategy triggered. PO went for approval.Now PO is in approved status.

2) Decrease price on PO item. Version 2 got created but release strategy was not triggered.

3) Increase price on PO item. Version 3 got created and Release strategy was triggered.

4) Decrease price on PO item. Version 4 got created but release strategy was not triggered.

5) Increase price on PO item. Version 5 got created and Release strategy was triggered.

 

So on version 1 Release strategy triggered when we decreased the price where else it only triggers release strategy on increase of value of PO on higher versions.

Is this a standard behavior that Release strategy would be triggered for price/quantity increase or decrease if PO is not in approved status?

BW Upgrade 7.01 -> 7.40 PREP_EXTENSION/ADDON_QCALC ERROR

Hi Gurus,

 

we want to upgrade our 7.01 BW to 7.40 and get the following error with SUM in Phase ADDON_QCALC (log attached)

My allocation is not doing anything meaningful.

 

It appears that the What and Using merge is failing. There is source and Using data. Please see the log below

Hi Gurus,

 

While doing Delivery, system is poping up beloew message

 

"no valid inspection lot for material & batch" and i understand why this message is coming. It is coming at the time of return delivery as well as at the time of Billing for returns, I dont want this information message for returns Delivery and returns Billing. How to remove this information message.

Getting Error when trying to set Delivery Complete Indicator

My first post here!


I have a 9 line standard PO.  Lines 2-9 all have the delivery complete indicator checked.  When you try to set it for line 1 I get the following error:

 

"DocHeader

Closure Indicator set at item level 00090. No changes possible."

 

Any ideas why it won't let me set the Delivery Complete indicator for line 1?

Bdoc erro with CONFIGURATION bdoc type

Hi Experts,

 

I am getting bdco error with CONFIGURATION bdoc type and if I check the error, it showing the below error message, I am not getting any clue on this issue, please help why its happening and how to fix it.

 

Validation error occurred: Module CRM_SCE_VAL, BDoc type CONFIGURATION.

Latest version of sapnwrfc.dll

Hi,

 

does anyone know, if there is a RFC Library (sapnwrfc.dll) out there newer than

"SAP NetWeaver RFC SDK 7.20, Patchlevel 8"?

The 7.20 version of sapnwrfc.dll seems to be compiled with VS 2005 using MSVCR80.DLL.

I'd like to get in touch with someone who could tell whether this version is compatible with

VS 2008's MSVCR90.DLL in regard to heap allocations. It would even help if someone

suggested a good place to ask such questions. Thanks in advance.

Upgrade from NW PI 7.11 TO NW PI 7.4

Hi,

 

We are planning to upgrade out present PI (NW PI 7.11 ) to NW PI 7.4(I think NW 7.4 PO).

 

We are try to run MOPZ for the system we are all unable to find 7.4 , but we are see NW 7.3 SP10 .

 

I can see warning "

Dual Stack: Upgrade to NW 7.40 not possible. See note 1816819."

 

 

I am missing any step. Should I split ABAP and Java .

 

Is NW 7.4 single single stack system.

 

Please guide in right direction.

User/group takes long to populate

Hi All.

 

SAP BO 4.1 SP7 ON LINUX

ORACLE DB

 

Users/group in QA is taking too long to populate. Dev and prod are good.

I have updated  LDAP  authentication, but still takes longer time to load.

 

It takes about 30mins to open, but will not allow to select.

Any solution will help

Attach /retrieve files in a alv grid in Ztransaction GOS

I'm wondering if it is possible to do the following:

 

1-mantain an ALV grid in a Ztransaction (module pool) which shows all attached files to current document;
e.g.: Not using the standatd GOS button. Only a ALV grid.
2-we could attach new files to sap ( IXOS ) with a ALV custom button;
3-we could open/save a selected document from this ALV grid on screen of step one with a ALV custom button.

 

I saw some posts on how to use the standard button GOS, but the user wants this the way above.

 

What do you think about it ? Is it possible ? If yes, is it easy as a cookbook or is it harder ?

Is the SIA in Crystal Server 2013 the same as the RAS in previous versions?

I am not an expert in BI/Crystal Server, so this may be a dumb question.

 

I recently migrated from Crystal Server 2008 to 2013.

I used CRS 2008 to display reports that were requested from an aspx form.

To handle the requests, we used the Report Application Server, which was available in the Central Configuration Manager.

 

In CRS 2013 I don't see the RAS in the CCM, I see a Server Intelligence Agent instead.

Are these services the same thing?

In other words, can the SIA perform the same functions that the RAS did? Or was the RAS moved somewhere else?

I checked the installation guide for CRS 2013 and I don't see any mention of the RAS anywhere.

Data migration project issue

Hello Experts,

 

We have data migration project from legacy system to PS and the user have a
need of maintaining the historical data for reporting purposes. In our project
we are going to use WBS element for planning and budget data.

 

 

Here is the issue, project had a net value of 50,000$ and it was already
billed for the amount of 20,000$ in the legacy system.

 

 

Please suggest - how should we handle these billed 20,000$ in the SAP for
the users to have full information about the project costs? What CO object
should we use for storing this data?

Disclosure Management Error when opening Excel

Dear Gurus,

 

İ uploaded some excel files to disclosure management. When i opening these uploaded excel files from my pc client, it gives error ;

 

Sap Disclosure Management error : The remote name could not be resolved.

 

Administration==>Misc==>Root folder for the Web-service:http://vkt-sap-bw01.xxxxxxx:90/WebServices/WDocumentService.asmx  (is this wrong?)

 

What could be the problem ? I want to Edit or View which i uploaded excel files.

Work Center cannot be deleted

Very frequently, problems are observed when deleting a work center on transactions such as CR02, CRC2 or IR02.

 

The work center can be deleted directly on the mentioned transactions if we choose the menu 'Work center' - 'Delete' or it can be archived using the archiving object PP_WKC (Archiving Work Centers (PP-BD-WKC) - Production Planning and Control (PP) - SAP Library)

 

However, very frequently a TIME OUT short dump happens when you try to delete the work center directly on the transaction .

The TIME_OUT dump usually occurs when the tables where the work center is being used are huge. That's because, during the work center deletion, system must perform a where-used selection, to find on which tables the work center is being referred. This procedure is necessary in order to prevent database inconsistencies, that means, avoid the deletion of a work center that is still being used on another table or transactions.

 

For example, if the work center was used on a production and if you delete this work center, you would probably observe a short dump or an inconsistency when trying to open this work center.

 

Therefore, system must confirm that the work center is nor referenced on the following tables, before the deletion:

 

  • PLKO - Task list - header
  • AFRU - Order completion confirmations
  • EQUZ - Equipment time segment
  • IFLO - Functional Location (View)
  • AFIH - Maintenance order header
  • ILOA - PM Object Location and Account Assignment
  • QMEL - Quality Notification

 

When there is a lot of data on these tables, the performance of this where-used selection is very bad and the work center cannot be deleted.

 

In this case, the archiving of unnecessary PM orders and Production orders to reduce the size of those tables is extremely recommended. This procedure will reduce the number of entries in the tables and it should avoid the TIME OUT.

 

In addition, there may be no suitable access path for the select statement on the tables, such as AFRU. This would not normally be an issue if the size of the order tables were not out of hand.  However, with the large amounts of data in these tables, the unsuitable access path really is a significant issue.  A new table INDEX with the field ARBID can be used, but this is considered as a MODIFICATION. Normally, SAP suggests a MAXIMUM of five indexes for a given table. This minimizes the required tablespace and minimizes the time needed by the Cost Based Optimizer to evaluate the possible access paths.

 

It is possible, however, to temporarily create the ARBID index, until the size of the order tables can be reduced sufficiently to allow

proper access to these tables or until the deletion of the desired work centers. After that, the index can be removed from the table.

Note 415031 provides more details about this specific issue and the mentioned index.

 

Another very frequent issue is the error message 'CR002 -  Work center XXXXXXXX in plant XXXX is still being used'.

This error message happens when the work center is still being referenced in one of the mentioned tables and the deletion will not be allowed while such reference still exists.

 

A quick way to identify where the work center is being referenced is to run transaction CR40 with all the flags checked.

Transaction CR40 will show exactly on which documents the work center is being used and you can proceed with a clean up of these documents.

Only when there is no usage for this work center on transaction CR40 you should be able to delete the work center.

In order to clear the references for this work center, we can replace it on routings and task lists and we should archive existing orders where this work center was used, with a proper archiving object (e.g. archiving object PP_ORDER for production orders).

Realizar consultas a la tabla ALR3 y OALR

Buen día compañeros.

 

Alguien sabe qué tan confiable es realizar consultas a las tablas mencionadas (ALR3 y OALR), me refiero a establecer un reporte que haga referencia a dichas tablas.

 

Mi duda surge al pensar en mantenimiento a la base de datos, no se si se eliminan registros de dichas tablas.

(NT 003/2015) Problemas na FM J_1B_NF_VALUE_DETERMINATION, parâmetro EXT_ITEM-ICMSRATE

Olá Caros,

 

Alguém pode me ajudar com a dúvida abaixo:

 

Alguns programas aqui, usam o Modulo de Função J_1B_NF_VALUE_DETERMINATION.

 

Notei que depois da criação dos tax types ICAP ICEP e ICSP, o modulo de função retorna o parâmetro  EXT_ITEM-ICMSRATE sempre com o valor da alíquota referente ao ICSP, e não ao ICM3, por exemplo. Alguém passou por este problema e sugere alguma solução, nota? Procurei nota mas não acheiu.

 

No momento estou tratando isso nos programas que chamam esta FM, como um workaround.

solman 7.1 sp12->incident management->e-mail configuration

Hi experts, we have a running solman SP12 configured for VAR scenario, we have been using it for incident management, however, we have not working the mail sending feature. We did the configuration using: "Application Incident Management –Configuration and Upgrade Guide for Service Provider / SAP Channel Partner (VAR) " but theres no anything about mail sending.

 

When we go to an incident and then More->Send E-Mail->Send , we get the message:"No e-mail adress in your user master record; E-mail will not be sent", however if i check in SU01 and BP transactions,my system users and business partners(related to this users) all have e-mail adress.

Another strange thing is that , in the mail screen, if i select more->from  , i get an empty list

And also, when listing the contact persons for a ticket, the email is empty,however all su01 and business partners, have e-mail assigned:

Does anybody has some tips for configuring e-mail(and make e-mail adresses appear in the incident management screens)?

Unable to enter Lumira license key

Hello,

 

When trying to input a License key in Lumira, the following pop up message is displayed: "Unable to enter the license key: Server Error". In the background, the following message is displayed: "No internet connection detected".

 

I can't find anything about this problem anywhere, though is seems like a problem that could potentially occur regularly. Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening?
