Input tax is not calculating for asset line item

Dear support,

   Input tax is not calculating for asset line item even though the code and calculate tax button is showing at the time of data entry in f-02 with posting key 70. Kindly help.Exempted tax code for input tax has configured in OBCL.All other setting are tax relevant. Please help.
