I did encounter a weird problem at one of my client. One of the user machine suddenly fail to connect to license server.
I did check the conf setting for file b1-local-machine.xml, and I did find one weird thing.
When I open the file with internet explorer, it show wrong ip address 192.168.1.5:30000
But, the same file when I open with notepad it show correct ip address of license server 192.168.1.9:30000
The SAP license server ip address is 192.168.1.9.
The weird thing is, same file show different ip when open with ie and notepad.
Does anyone face the same problem, or any idea that possible cause this problem?
I did try below steps but not working:
- uninstall SAP Business One client on that user machine.
- delete all file from %temp%
- delete SAP folder in c:/programs files (x86)
- delete sap log folder in %appdata% for that user profile.
- restart the machine then reinstall SAP business one client from B1_SHR. but still same problem and weird thing about the ip address in b1-local-machine.xml.
And i did try copy the file b1-local-machine.xml from other user machine which is ok, but still problem, and when open the b1-local-machine.xml in ie still shown wrong ip, and open with notepad is correct ip.
