How can we avoid duplicate vendors while creating xd01 for same Vendor/customer in different plants

Hi All,

I am creating a Vendor in XD01 from different plants, so i am getting unique numbers for same vendor,  So this is be coming  duplicate vendor, so how can i prevent/ take care  duplicates.
