Since 2009 this program has worked on this site and other sites. this is a vb2008 windows application using Crystal 2008 on win 7 pc (which is on a network) It failed yesterday. Only thing that might have had an effect was windows 7 update before this failed. We have not heard from others with this application but they may not have used the pdf yet.
A crystal report is created, turned into a pdf, and exported. It fails on creation of the pdf. (I have attached the error report
I noticed that similar problems with similar messages have occurred but the one closest to mine was for vb 2010 (scn.sap.com/threat/3441648) and this is for 2008 and worked fine for years. It does use Times New Roman and some said changing this worked. This is an invoice with lots of lines and boxes so hopefully this is not the problem (and the font has not been changed either)
Please let me know if you need more info. I have not checked read/write temp files (why would this change?),or CRdll's (why would this affect things unless the win 7 updates did something. Needless to say, we have not been able to replicate this on our own computers (naturally) and we use win 7 too and have had the updates and have the same runtime for this program and have the code as well.
Any ideas?
