I have a requirement from my client for end of service benefit (EOSB)for employees who are terminated from the company.
The employees are eligible ony for gratuity as per the requirement. Please find the below computation
1-5 years of service the employee is eligible for 21 days of basic per year for 5 years.
5 years and above service the employee is eligible for 30 days of basic salary per yr.
Max cap the gratuity amount should not exceed their 2 years whole salary.
Example: if employee is completed 8 years of service he will first fall in the first bracket of 21 days salary for first 5 years and then rest 3 years will be computed on 30 days basic.
Note: Employees have 3 types of contract limited, unlimited and free zone
