making choose from list coloumns invisible

Hi guys,

I am working on a choose from list made of a user defined table of Master Data Type . Now I want to reduce the no. of columns visible in the list . I have used the form setting thing but it makes the columns dissapear for all the forms in the Add on . How could I achieve this ?
