Physical Inventory of Negative Stock

Hi SAP Gurus,

We have a scenario where we need to perform Physical Inventory for Negative Stock Material.

The requirement is that, say, there is a material X with negative stock enabled. The stock of X is -50. Through physical inventory process, the stock is required to be modified to -40.

How can we achieve the above requirement? The system is not accepting negative values in MI04 tcode.
