Issue while scheduling the Plan in IP10

Hi Experts,

I have created a strategy plan in IP42 with 6 MON package. When I am scheduling the plan in IP10, first call is coming with 3 MON due package. But in my Task List I have maintained only 6 MON Package.

In IP10 I have given "Start in Cycle' date is 20.07.2015. Since it is 6 MON package , I supposed to get the call on 20.01.2016. Where as in my case first call is coming on 20.10.2015 (3 MON Package).

There is no offset in the Strategy or in the Maintenance Plan.

Can anybody throw some light why system is behaving like this??
