I have a situation with a client were they actually do a receipt from production for 10 000 quantity but then the item gets further testing done on it and needs an additional $0.06 added to the item cost.
If the production order is complete and closed, the costs currently are being added by doing a goods issue and goods receipt at the new price. But alot of manual work is needed and users need to check pricing at time of Issue and Receipt to make sure the correct journals are being posted.
A special production order or any production order doesn't allow to have the finished product also a component of the production order.
Is there any other suggestions that anybody has that I'm missing or unaware of..?
