The text literal .....is longer than 255 characters

Could  you help me to solve this syntax error.

DATA : FORM1 TYPE C LENGTH 2000.    FORM1 = 'Dear Candidate (sir name) .'&   'Thank you for applying for the position of Recruitment Specialist '&   'After careful consideration, we apologize to inform you that your application doesn’t match the criteria for this position.'&   'We will keep your application, and will contact you for any vacancy related with your experience in the future. In '&   'the meantime, you can visit our website to communicate with us to clarify anything you don’t understand.'&   'Best Regards,'&   ' Recruitment Team'.

I want to send an email using this text format as in FORM1 variable as a message.
