Approach: Copy of Content infoobjects or using them directly ?

Dear All,

I have seen both approaches,

First: Activating the BI Content and using the standard 0* objects from SAP ( Atleast the Datasources, Infoobbjects, Transformations, Routines)

Second: Activate standard BI Content and make copy ((all infoobjects, DSOs) and use HR*, FI* as naming conventions

What are the pros and cons of above 2 approach?
