We are currently doing an implementation of SAP 1511 (FPS V1) On Prem edition and would like to know the path forward with traditional SOP and Flexible Planning.
From the simplification list and what we see available in the system it is a bit confusing as it seems eventually traditional SOP and Flexible Planning will be removed/no longer supported and in place will be IBP12 (and APO for more robust solutions going forward).
Is the above accurate? And if so, just wondering should we not be providing a SOP and Flexible Planning solution if it's support is removed.
Are there additional licensing considerations for IBP (vs. traditional SOP and Flexible Planning)?
If someone could please advise on this roadmap details that would be much appreciated, we would not want to implement a solution for this year that will no longer be supported, thanks.
