Losing Sorting in Final Aggregation Node

In a graphical calculation view, I am trying to sort an aggregated data by TOTAL using the rank node as shown below. Could any help me understand why I am loosing the sorting on TOTAL in the final aggregation node. It looks like the sorting is being done by the variable asset_type. How can I resolve this issue?
