Parking document going automatically to next period

Hi All,

I would be thankful if someone can help me with my problem in parking document. That is a parking document which is not posted before closing of a month end, which is tried to post after closing the period for that particular month is not giving error message for the closed period instead it is going automatically to next period for posting. I would like to know if there is any configuration settings to get the error message that the period is closed.
