SAP B1 8.82 Cascading Parameters for Layout Report using (DocKey@) - Print Labels

Hi,

 

I am trying to achieve the following:

 

     -     I want the Layout to be available from the PO Goods Receipt module.

 

     -     I want to print labels from a PO Goods Receipt, but, want to be able to select one Item code at a time (As label will change based on item).

 

I can do this using Cascading Dynamic Parameters in Crystal Reports, but don't know how to achieve this when run in SAP.

 

I want the user to select the layout report in the PO Goods Receipt Module(Token DocKey@) then be presented with a list of Itemcodes rom the rows (PDN1), user selects itemcode them report runs, labels can then be printed.

Hi All,

 

(1) Does Schema Type, SCD Type, Dimension/Fact Table type, OLAP/OLTP affect while creating Unverse/Report? If yes then how?

 

 

What I understand that the above things are already decided by the Database/Data Modeling team and the Universe designer just need to identify the tables that he/she needs in the universe and after inserting those tables the only work is to create joins, removing traps, loops and applying security,creating conditions.

 

And the report designer just need to select objects according  to requirement of the report then doing some report specific things.

 

 

(2) Can we identify solely observing the universe whether it is based on OLAP/OLTP?

 

(3) Can we identify solely observing the reports what type of Schema, SCD, Dimension/Fact Table are being used and whether the reports are based on OLAP/OLTP?

WM(6.3) With CS (2.2) Operation level assignment type-2 WorkOrder Push Not Working..!!

Hi Team,

 

 

          we are working on the work manager 6.3 with customer service 2.2 ,currently we are working on the Operation level assignment type-2.

We are done changes in the Agentry level and also in the config panel but we doesn't get any work order into the device while checking with the config panel we noticed that the there is only the header level push but there is no Operation level push in EFI Assignment Detail. Please find the screen shot below.

 

Is there any standard bug in it.

 

If it so please give us the valuable answer from your side ..

 

 

While deploy and check with this work order push we got error  like "cannot cast class..." in the log file

 

java.lang.ClassCastException: Cannot cast class com.syclo.sap.component.customerservice.workorder.stephandler.CSWorkorderPushStepHandler to class com.syclo.sap.component.customerservice.workorder.stephandler.WorkorderPushStepHandler

Enable program to sense a change in screen input value

I am trying to code a module pool program with multiple screens. The screens are called in succession by user to complete information about an employee.

 

There are usual options in data maintenance like Create (new), Change / View (existing ones) etc. I want to build in a functionality where by the application would ask the user whether or not to save the change/s carried out during "Change" option. My query is:

 

*1. How can I make the system to know ("sense") that a change or changes have been made by the user in the existing data displayed on the screen (during "Change" option)?

 

*2. The applicable code would also sense that no changes have been made and thus completely by-pass the procedure (1 above).

File not picked up using Filename scheme via SFTP sender channel.

Hi All,

 

We are using SAP SFTP sender channel and noticed a strange issue. Our is SAP PI 7.4 SP12.

 

A file with name File_Header_20160812.xml is in the folder.

 

In the channel when we use File_Header*.xml or File_Header* or File_Header*.* it does not work.

 

It only works if I hardcode the file name as File_Header_20160812.xm.

 

Any idea what might be the issue. Seems more like a channel issue.

Mass email of customer statements in SAP B1

Hi everyone

 

I am having a problem with mass email of customer statements via SAP B1 9.20 PL03.

 

I have set up everything as far as I can see correctly. I can email for instance a PDF of a sales order and can receive that with PDF attachment at the email address I send it to.

 

However when I go through the process of sending customer statements, it sends an email as configured to each address but will not add the attachment to each email.

 

It shows within the attachment folder that the PDF has been created for each customer, it sends an email with the details I want and my signature, but it will not add the attachment to the email.

 

Does anyone know why it would not attach the PDF?

Delete or cut any workflow block in SWDD, not working

Dear Experts,

 

We are facing strange issue while copy block ,cut block and paste block using SWDD -work flow t code ,we are using SAP GUI 7.30 Patch level 7 .

 

We  are facing this issue with only some developers .

 

Some developers using same SAP GUI able to cut block and paste block and cut block using SWDD.

 

We have compared the SAP GUI for both users still no luck.

 

When we copy any block ,

Selected entries were copied to the clipboard message is not appearing with affected users .

 

Its appearing with some developers who are able to copy.

 

we have uninstalled and reinstalled the SAP GUI for effected users ,but no luck.

 

Kindly advise anyone have faced this kind of issues or advise to trouble shoot this issue.


Unable to add AET field to search criteria

Hi Experts,

 

I added multiple AET fields to the Activity header (CRM_ICM_ACT_H/HeaderEOF) to the BTADMINH context node. I now want the activity to be searchable using these fields. I have made them search relevant from WebUI but I'm not able to see the fields in the CRM_ICM_ACT_S/AdvancedSearch view ADVANCEDSEARCH ( Base Entity BTQIcmAct ) context node. So the fields are also not available in the available fields of the search page view configuration.

 

I'm pretty new to SAP CRM. Please guide me on how to add these fields to the search criteria.

Update: The fields have not been added directly using AET but rather added through AET table and are present in the relations of BTAdminH.

 

After going through a couple of blogs, I created the implementation of this BADI: CRM_BADI_RF_Q1O_READ.

But the system raises an exception even before the BADI is executed.

( Exception Details: A RAISE statement in program "CL_CRM_REPORT_ACC_OINDEX_JEST=CP" has raised

  exception condition "PROBLEM_WITH_QUERY"..)

Font handling during Blog migration

A blog of mine was recently migrated to the new blog site:  #Fiori - 500k views and growing! - SAP Blogs

 

Unfortunately due to some of the WYSIWYG editor leftovers from Jive, the migrated blog needs a bit of cosmetic maintenance.  For comparison, you can see the original blog (#Fiori - 500k views and growing!).

 

I have already edited the original blog in the HTML editor to eliminate the extra <span> tags and all the 13.333px fonts that were causing this minor look and feel issue to help with subsequent migrations.  The blog being displayed in the newly migrated viewer only seems to amplify the problem that was only evident to a trained eye in the old SCN.  When editing DOC's in the current SCN, I often have to clean up the needless SPAN and font additions to the syntax...extra carriage returns, copy/paste, etc. all seem to introduce new fonts, styles, and spans.

 

The links seem to work in my migrated blog, e.g. a pointer to "Share your SAP Fiori Implementation Experience with the Community!", but the referenced content that is now being pushed to the archive location is another ongoing debate...

 

I've seen other blogs migrated, where the look and feel was quite terrible, so I had considered tagging this as a bug and not just feedback.

Hi,

 

i have the problem, that the transport of custom designes show nothing. I create a theme in DEV system an transport it with tcode /UI5/THEME_TOOL to QA system. Everythiong seems to be good, but after i changed the launchpad design in browser there is no design.

 

 

What can I do to get my custom designs in QA system?

SAP Payroll india

Hi,

 

I have a requirement employee got confirmed on 08.08.2016 . Client has given him petrol allowance of 9000 & mainatian in IT 15.

 

When I run the payroll the amount is coming less to 7000. When i calculate it is taking only 24 days other 7 days amount is not picking.

 

I checked in RT it is getting split of 7 & 24 days but amount is not coming exactly.

 

 

Please help!!!!

Hi Experts,

 

We are currently useing

SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.2

Version: 14.2.0.1855

SAP Data Services 4.2 SP4

and SAP Information Steward 4.2 SP7.

When I login Information Steward and select any project it shows the following error,

 

Unexpected error when processing request for service. Contact your administrator. (COR-10868) (COR-10869).

 

I checked in CMC --> Application --> Information Steward --> View Data Services Server, it close automatically and re-start automatically.

SAP HCI Sender HTTPS Adapter

Hi everyone,

 

We have a scenario where we would like to call a REST service (JSON format) via our SAP HCI tenant. Is it possible to expose REST services using HCI? I'm guessing this might be done using the sender HTTPS adapter (given that HCI currently doesn't have a REST adapter)? How do we specify the parameters required in the URL?

I am currently reviewing the auto-posting activity for internal Transfer Pricing activity.  Unfortunately, most of the activity is posted at a very high level with no detail on how the material values or standard costs are arrived at without extensive manual digging into PO's and back system settings.  Is there a posting log, system report or screen that allows you to see the G/L transaction by shipment with detail of how the values are arrive at?  Due to the high volume of transactions on a daily basis, it is not practical to review each transaction manually.

 

Any insight would be of great help.

Error in GOSI

Dear,

 

I am giving support to a SAUDI Client and I've one issue in GOSI pay for an employee.

 

The employee Salary is as : Basic: 3000

 

Below is the screenshot of overall view of Infotype 0008.

When we hired an employee:

As per the Saudi localization the Gosi should be 10% of Basic then it should be 300 from employee side.

 

But in RT table its taking HRA 500 and basic 3000 total GOSI it is deducting 350 but the user has no where maintain HRA 500 for this employee.

i am unable to find out from where the system is taking /660 housing allowance wagetype though we not maintain it in Master data any where..

 

Please provide the best solution to get it resolved. Looking forward for early response....
